This sounds good:
Hot Buttered Rum
Winter mornings don't need to be so chilly
Combine in a footed coffee mug
1 1/2 oz. Dark Rum
1 tsp. Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Butter
Fill with hot water or milk. Stir well and top with Nutmeg.
Or this:
Kahlua Hot Chocolate
3/4 oz. Kahlua
3/4 oz. Chocolate Liqueur
3/4 cup Hot Chocolate
Prepare the hot chocolate. Add in Kahlua and liqueur. Stir well. Garnish with Hershey’s Chocolate Kiss and marshmallow.
I don't have any chocolate liqueur (I don't think) so I can't do that second one. Wah!
This one sounds pretty good, too:
Hot Toddy
Bring on Winter - We're Ready!
1 oz. Brandy
1 Tablespoon Honey
1/4 Lemon
1 cup Boiling Water
1 Tea Bag
Coat the bottom of a mug with the honey. Add brandy and juice of lemon quarter. On the side, boil water and add tea bag to make hot tea. Pour steaming tea into honey/brandy/lemon combination.
--------------
Oh yeah, and it's snowing again. :-/

Date: 2008-12-21 10:01 pm (UTC)We only have one, I think, and I got it in a gift pack with the brandied apple cider I bought Bill yesterday. I'm not sure WHY it needs to be in a footed mug. Maybe because it looks better? It seems sort of silly to me.
